How Do We Heal With So Much Hate Everywhere?

Many of you will expect the usual balance that I try to put out, but this time I think you are going to find my article a bit more one sided.

Why? Well, it is because one side has a strangle hold on hate, and they are the ones projecting it on to others.

What are my evidences?

One is the reaction to Parler versus the response to BlueSky.

When Conservatives attempted to set up their own uncensored social media platform that allowed them to speak, the left viscously tore it down reminiscent of how the Democrats burned Black Wall Street because they could not take anyone else succeeding apart from their structure and oversight.

Yet when the left fled Twitter/X and Facebook to huddle together on BlueSky in order to recreate their own echo chamber, the right made no such attempt to remove it, and indeed they turned it into an object for ridicule and a source for endless entertainment. Nothing got destroyed, no one is breaking down the walls of what they created to drag them back into the public square as they did to us.

Another example is the reaction to Twisters versus the reaction to Indiana Jones or Star Wars Shows.

When Twisters made one of the largest profit margins by percentage in 2024, it was lambasted by the trades reports and the left because it did not do enough to promote the climate change agenda. Yet when the new Indiana Jones and Star Wars shows/movies flopped, mainly due to injected modern social issues, they rampaged against the public for being racist, mysoginsitic, homophobic, transphobic, etc. etc. etc.

No one on the right called the left a bunch of angry and spiteful names because they enjoyed their films, well, at least not until the left started spewing nothing but hatred toward those who did not watch them. They did not even call the detractors of the movie, that they did liked, all of these horrible names like the left did.

How do you heal with a group of people who seem consumed with the idea that you are an evil person simply because you do not agree with them?

Note: I did not use Deadpool vs. Wolverine on purpose. Not because it also does not fall into this category, but because I wanted to show that they consider nothing beneath their response threshold.

One look at social media will highlight much of this as well.

Outliers aside, most on the right simply roll their eyes or mock the anger and spitefulness of the left while the left will move to cancel, fire, dox, or harass in mobs anyone on the other side that they disagree with.

So, how do we heal? How do we come together?

Well, unfortunately it does not appear that there is much we can do from the right. Until the left decides to disarm (ideologically speaking), there is not much that can be done.

Until the left begins to engage not just with the right, but also with the centrists that they have suddenly turned on for not being extreme enough, they are going to continue to be a hateful group which shrinks slightly on a daily basis as more and more people wake up and realize that they are stuck in a hateful echo chamber from which they must escape.

So long as anyone who disagrees with them is a "facist," "istaphobe," "hate monger," there is likely little that can be done to bridge the divide.

We are dealing with more than half a century of political indoctrination through public and leftist institutions. It is not going to be solved in a day.

I just hope that is does not end up being an ideology that just has to die out. I genuinely hope that these people can be reached.

Unfortunately I have very serious doubts about that possibility ever happening.

Addendum: If you are a leftist reading this, and you are wondering if I am talking about you, and if you are stuck in this trap, I am happy to discuss it with you, providing that we can do so amicably. I am not a therapist or licensed anything, but I am a person with a considerable amount of understanding who wants to help you on your journey if I can.
