Wow, I think you just hit the nail on the head. Emotionalism is a huge part of what's going wrong with our political system. We are no longer a country ruled by logic, but emotion.

But why do you think it's being used so heavily in this election cycle?

So, how would you address the disparity, and what do you believe that we can do to "restart society?" Should we even try?

So how to do you America in terms of equality of opportunity? Are we there? Are there things we need to do differently?

That's what we're seeing. What do you think can change that and help them to comply?

If so, then how do you explain the statistics globally? Countries with mask mandates didn't do as well as those with strong contact tracing. Getting to people quickly and getting small groups into quarantine appears to do a much better job than shutting down your economy or forcibly masking the public. Unless you're attempting to say that you don't believe the global numbers either.

So how do you see us being able to bridge the gap between that, "you can't tell me what to do," and establishing something that will help keep things open?
